Our Overall Award went to a small convenience store situated on the crossroads at Apse Heath.  The premises received an external makeover not long ago and it was pleasing to note the careful attention paid to the shop front external lighting.

We were delighted to give our Overall Winner 2015 Award to Raj’s Premier.  Located within an intrinsically dark region of countryside, it is crucial to avoid adding to light pollution of the night skies.

Mr Rajnikant Patel received not only a framed certificate but also a handsome engraved glass trophy to mark the occasion.  The trophy was commissioned from Sculptured Glass Studio at Arreton Barns - a location not easily accessed thanks to the main road through the village being reconstructed by a well-known Island company.
